Clark-Barrows family at a farm near Atkinson Depot, the Little River on the right, in Plaistow or Atkinson, New Hampshire. Grassy meadow with trees in the background. Left to right: Albert C. Barrows, druggist; Elizabeth Clarke Barrows (Mrs. Albert C.), seated, holding umbrella; Honorable Nathaniel Haven Clark, standing; Miss Ellen Clark or "Aunt Clarke," seated; Lydia Bailey (Mrs. Thomas, seated); Mrs. Gage (Frances Barrows), holding a small dog; Miss Susan Clark; Betsy Barrows; Mary Dellamaria (later Mrs. Alden P. Jaques), reclining, between Betsy and Sally Barrows. On the verso is the note "(Mary Delamaria) later Mrs. Alden Jaques, a great beauty." Sally was later Mrs. Harry L. Reynolds; Betsy was later Mrs. Merton E. Woodworth. They are the daughters of Albert C. and Elizabeth Barrows. They are all dressed in light clothes, the men in suits, shirts and ties, and straw hats, the women in dresses, two of them and the girls wearing hats. Group portrait circa 1895. The photo is by Thomas Bailey. On the verso of another copy of this photo, the man here identified as Thomas Bailey is identified as Nathaniel Haven Clark; but Bailey is probably the photographer, not in the photo.
