Keyword Search

Searches are not case sensitive.
Keyword Search uses OR as the default connector between words. Merrimack Street will find records with either Merrimack OR Street.
Type AND between keywords to find records containing both terms: Merrimack AND Grocers.
Use quotes to search for an exact phrase or name: "Merrimack Street" or "John Greenleaf Whittier" or a call number like "HL8.5 Senter G6x8 1-2". Combine with AND: "Merrimack Street" AND "Department stores".
Use the asterisk (*) as a wildcard (e.g. a search for school* would return records containing school, schools, etc.).
Some records have more than one image; click on thumbnails, or click left or right on the enlarged images to move through the selection.
