Pressey & Corson, grocers, 15 South Main Street, Bradford, Haverhill. A man is standing out side the two story plus basement building. He is wearing a straw hat, shirt, tie, trousers and apron; he is not identified. The storefront has an awning and large windows on each side of the door. View of front and left sides. Inscription on verso: "Grocery store at Bradford end of bridge. / 1885 Pressy [sic] & Corson / dealers in provisions & country produce / 15 Main St. cr. Merrimack [sic] St Bradford / Chas C. Pressey & / Ulysses M. Corson / see photo of So Main at bridge / This structure stood near corner of Middlesex St on So Main - buildings behind in left are Cox's grain co." Image probably late 19th century. Photo is 13 x 10 cm mounted on card 17 x 11 cm. |
