Studio portrait, standing, facing three-quarter left, hand on the back of a chair on the left, curtain on the right. Inscription on reverse of mount: "Respectfully your friend [J. G. Cooper Hilles] (illegible) Co. "I" 3rd Md Vols. York Pa. Feby 9 1864." Photographer's studio printed on reverse of mount: "Evans & Prince, Photographers, York, Pa. No 4284." Image dated1864. |
