8th Regiment, Infantry, Company F, Camp Dewey, South Framingham, 1897. Two photos, different sizes, mounted on each side of cardboard 26 x 29 cm. 1. 8th Regiment, Infantry, Company F, Fall Field Day at Camp Dewey, South Framingham, 1897. Fifty-six soldiers in uniform with hats are seated on the ground, kneeling or standing, in four rows, in front of a building with shuttered long windows, some of which are open. Four men in white shirts are visible in the windows; they are African American, the soldiers are white. None of the men are identified. Inscribed caption: "Company F / 8th Regt. M.V.M. fall Field Day - So. Framingham - 1897 or earlier." 16 x 21 cm. 2. 2. Three officers of 8th Regiment Company F seated in a tent at Camp Dewey, South Framingham, Mass., Fall Field Day, 1897. They are in uniform with hats. Inscribed caption: "Capt. Wm C. Dow Lt. Thomas F. Crowley Lt. David E. Jewell / 8th Regt. M.V.M. Fall Field Day - So. Framingham - 1897." Printed caption pasted below: "Fall Field Day Headquarters - Three officers sit before the headquarters tent for Fall field exercises at Camp Dewey in 1897. They are, left to right, Capt. William C.
