Houses, Westland Terrace and Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill. Large three or four story houses, some with turret or square towers. Photomechanical prints of photographs from an unidentified publication. Three prints, 10 x 16 cm, mounted together on cardboard 36 x 26 cm. 1. Composite image, four houses. Top left to right: Charles W. Arnold House, 25 Westland Terrace, built 1895, designed by J. Williams Beal of Boston; [oval frame] William S. Merryman House, 220 Kenoza Avenue, built in 1889 designed by Josiah M. Littlefield. Bottom left to right: [oval frame] Myron L. Whitcomb House, 40 Westland Terrace; E. M. Putnam House, Kenoza Avenue corner of Fountain Street, number not given, built c. 1900. Houses identified with inscriptions on verso, Putnam as "Ed. M. Putnam." 2. Left, Myron L. Whitcomb House, 40 Westland Terrace, built 1897, designed by Cane & Potter, right, Fred D. Peabody House, 42 Westland Terrace. Inscription on verso: "Fred D. Peabody / erected 1902 / Myron L. Whitcomb / erected 1897." 3. Milan C. Cram House, Westland Terrace (house number not given), with printed caption "Westland Terrace." House on the left. Three stories plus attic, square tower with pyramid roof, cross gabled hip roof. Inscription on verso: "Milan C. Cram house." |
