Description |
Webster House, 535 West Lowell Avenue, Haverhill. Built in 1712 by ship's carpenter John Hutchins. Also known as the Old Hutchins House. Clapboard, three stories, saltbox style (not visible). View of front door with pediment, two stories visible. Red and white label with inscription: "#5519 / Hutchins-Webster-Tenney House." A print has the inscription in part: "Home of Wm Tenney at time it was sold." Moved to Rochester, N.Y. in 1937. With others in series dated circa 1905. See print HS1.1 Senter HPH 38-520C. |
