City Hall, Main Street, Haverhill, before 1888 fire, rebuilt 1889 and after. Three prints, different sizes, from unidentified publications, mounted together on cardboard 28 x 36 cm. Housed with Historical Photographic Print Collection. 1. Three stories plus basement, brick, four and five story towers in center including belfry and clock. Horse-drawn streetcar facing left in the street. This version of the building stood between 1861-1888, when the roof was destroyed by a fire. Caption below: "City Hall, burned Nov. 6, 1888." In bottom right corner: "J. S. Conant Co. Boston." Engraving. 14 x 11 cm. 2. The building rebuilt with new roof and clock tower.
