Description |
Fireman's Monument, Hilldale Cemetery, Haverhill, when located at there. Dedicated May 30, 1889. Designed by Calvin H. Weeks; carved at Cararra, Italy. Weeks was also Mayor of Haverhill in 1884. Fireman holding a hose, in "fire laddie" position with his feet holding the hose in place. Dedication inscription on plaque, with "H. F. D." at base. First dedicated in 1889, later moved to Linwood Cemetery. Image probably early 20th century. Inscription on housing: "Lambert" [photographer]. |
