Benjamin F[ranklin]. Barnes Farm, a dairy farm, cows in pasture on the left side of Boardman Street, trees lining the road. House and barn in the background. Inscription on verso: "B. F. Barnes farm / Boardman Street." Another photo has the inscription on verso insert: "White-Boardman Farm [...] owned by Charles White, willed by him to his nephew Charles White Boardman, whose daughter married Benjamin Franklin Barnes of Boxford who connducted a dairy farm here. Later owned by Fred A. Mears, dairy farmer & farm equipment sales." Photo is 10 x 13 cm mounted on cardboard 36 x 26 cm. |
