Description |
Horatio Pearl House, 259 South Main Street, Bradford, Haverhill. Three stories, clapboard, gable roof, extension in the rear with gambrel roof. Wrap-around porch, oriel/bay window on the third floor on the right. Large tree in front partly obscuring the house. Built as a double house by Isaac Morse in 1836. Other residents were Samuel F. Merrill (left side, 1837), William Hall (right side, 1837), and Aaron P. Heath (left side, 1842). The Pearls bought the house in 1850 and occupied the whole house. It became the Bradford Branch Library in 1934. View of front and right sides. Other houses in the background. Trolley tracks in the street. Photo by George W. W.
