Savignac Brickyard, Rosemont Street, Haverhill. Six men in work clothes, overalls with rolled pants or legs cut short; a few men are barefoot. A seventh man, second from the left, is in Charles C. Savignac; he is wearing a suit, shirt and tie and hat. A team of two horses is in the background. Behind the men is the clay mixing bin, and two men have carts with brick molds. The other six men are not identified. Bricks are drying on the ground in the foreground. Photo probably by Lambert, late 19th or early 20th century. |
