Benson Hospital, Webster-Marsh House, also known as the Marsh House, 26 Summer Street, Haverhill. Here it was the Benson Hospital under Dr. Charles S. Benson (address during 1920s onward was 66 Summer Street). Three stories, stone and shingle, flat or hip roof, portico with pediment and bay window above, horizontal flagpole, porch on the right, second floor balcony on the right, dormer windows on rear extension. View of front and right sides. Three cars parked on the right in the driveway. Trees in the front yard; the lawn is graded with stone steps leading to the street, a stone retaining wall with balustrade. Another house on the left. Inscription on verso: "Dr. C. S. Benson's Hospital, Summer St. / formerly home of Elizabeth C. Ames. Taken by John Blacklock, June 1929." This house was torn down in the 1980s. See copy negative HN2 Senter F35 3-35S.
