Haverhill 325th Anniversary Parade, June 27th, 1965, Haverhill, Mass. Benedetti Shoe Store mini car, Haverhill. The car is a miniature sized classic automobile, early 20th century style, about the size of a go-cart. A person in a white suit and helmet is driving and a boy is in the passenger seat; they are not identified. A sign on the car reads "Benedetti Shoe Store" and another sign on the front reads "Keds." Another red sports car is behind it, decorated with streamers, sign illegible. Location is Mill Street. Cedar shingle multistory house and trees in the background, spectators standing or seated on the side of the road. Date on slide: Jun 65, number 32. |
