Dunsmoor, or the William Nelson Kimball House, 285 South Main Street, Bradford, Haverhill. Three stories plus cupola, clapboard with quoins, gable roof with dormers, front porch with trellis columns with vines growing on them. Stone steps and path from sidewalk through graded yard to porch. View of front and left sides of house. Carriage house with cupola on the right. Built ca. 1850. Later the Carleton School. Inscription with print gives the address as 142 South Main Street. Image taken before 1889 when the Farrar House was built on the corner of Byron Street (to the left). This may be a later print. See glass negative HS1.1 Senter G6x8 1-1. Photo is 12 x 19 cm mounted on cardboard 26 x 36 cm. |
