West-Brickett-Kritter House, also known as "Elmwood" or the Thomas West House, 229 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill. Three stories, brick, porch or extension on right, hip roof. Columns in front supporting an extension of the front gable, small three part window at the center. View of front and left sides. Tree and brick gate pillars in the foreground, driveway on the left on the house. Inscription with another print in file: "Pillars on front added by Edward Brickett in 1908 when the Moses Nichols House at the corner of Summer & Main Streets was taken down. Bought by Eugene R. Kritter in 1929." Date on slide: Jul 85, number 7. |
