Pentucket Club, formerly known as the Moses B. Moody House, 99 Main Street, Haverhill, later the home of James Henry Duncan. Architect John Haviland. View from across the street in City Hall Park with park benches in the foreground. Three stories, hip roof with dormers. Two columns at front entrance. Right porch has two-story round portico, double staircase. Snow on the ground. Photo by Linwood O. Towne with his inkstamp on the verso and inscribed to Justice William Henry Moody: "To Hon. W. H. Moody / with the appreciation of L. O. Towne. Dec. 1898." Photo is faded, scratched; 9 x 12 cm mounted on card 14 x 17 cm. Full call number is HM4.16.1 Senter HPH 24-332A. |
