Half turret with cone roof and porch on the left, portico with pediment on the right. View of front and left sides, Park Street on the left. Trees planted along the sidewalk, other houses in the background. Inscription with another photo on file: "Built by C. H. Goodwin in 1887. / Formerly occupied by Charles H. Goodwin. Remodeled by J. O. Wardwell. Garden designed for Mr. Wardwell by Loring Underwood." From "Art Work of Essex County," published 1896 by W. H. Parish Publishing Company.
