Description |
Samuel Prescott Bradley (1812-1891). He has grey hair and beard and light eyes, and is wearing a dark suit with a light shirt and dark tie. Head and shoulders portrait, facing three-quarter left. Born in Haverhill, Bradley was a dry goods merchant, boot and shoe manufacturer, and when retired he maintained a farm in Haverhill. He was quartermaster and a lieutenant in Hastings' eighth regiment, a Whig in the Harrison campaign in 1840, and a member of many prominent Haverhill societies.
