A woman with brown hair stands next to him. The man on the right has brown hair and a mustache. The plaque has a bas relief portrait of Crockett, and the words below: "These trees, planted in the Washington Street Historic District are dedicated to James Underwood Crockett, Haverhill native for his life-long commitment to making our world a more beautiful place in which to live.
