Peaslee Garrison House, 790 East Broadway, Haverhill, near Rocks Village. View of front and left sides of the building. Large trees are in front and on the right of the house. Three stories, brick front, gable roof, wood over brick on the left side. Shed and barn on the right. The house was built in the 1670s by Joseph Peaslee (1646-1735). Inscription on verso: "Old Garrison House Peaslee / East Haverhill Mass.," with photographer's inkstamp: "William H. Curtis / 26 Merrimack Street / Haverhill, Mass." Photo is 13 x 18 cm mounted on cardboard 21 x 26 cm. |
