Captain William Caldwell House, also know as James H. Winchell House, 43 Pleasant Street, Haverhill. Three stories with cupola on roof. Front porch with balcony above on second floor. People on steps, porch, and a horse and carriage with passengers in front on the street. Caption: "Residence of Mr. J. H. Winchell." In bottom right corner in grass area: "J. S. Conant Co. Boston." View of front and right sides. Inscription with another image (photo) of the house: "Built by Capt. William Caldwell c. 1828 when he came to Hav[erhill] from Nbypt [Newburyport] Purchased by Hazen Morse, Boston silversmith & engraver - Remodeled by James [Henry] Winchell - c. 1880-85? d. 1896."
