City Hall, Main Street, Haverhill. Three stories plus basement, brick, four and five story towers in center including belfry and clock. View of front and left sides, showing street incline. A few horses and carriages in the street, three men in front of the building. Grocers' storefronts on the left of the building, including [?] Webster & Co.; one may be Peabody Jr.'s. Wesley Methodist Church on the right. Numbers written on emulsion: 1 and 25-11. Stereoscopic photograph. This building stood between 1861-1888; image probably circa late 1860s or 1870s.
