Milton Chase House, 275 Main Street at Ashland Street, Haverhill. Three stories, clapboard, cross gabled roof, four story tower with tent roof in the rear, small second floor balcony on the left. View of front and left sides, Ashland Street on the left. Other houses in the background. Picket fence near the sidewalk, trolley tracks in the street. Inscription with print in file: "Stephen Chase (1790 - ) of Plaistow [N.H.] originally lived in this house in Plaistow. He had it moved to Haverhill which event was noted in the diary of Isaac Merrill. He was a farmer in the 1872 City Directory ... Moved to this location in 1848, torn down in 1930." Photo by George W.
