Company F of the Eighth Regiment Infantry returning from four months of Mexican border service during the Mexican Border War, November 6, 1916. Soldiers in formation facing a crowd and a raised platform with American flags, where several men are standing, one of them Haverhill Mayor Albert L. Bartlett. Centre Congregational Church in the background, City Hall not visible. "City Council Reviewing Co. F. / Opposite City Hall, Main Street, On Their Return From The Border, Address by the Mayor."
