Bowley Farm barn, later a shoe factory, Beach Street, Haverhill. Four stories including basement level, clapboard, gable roof with cupola and weathervane. View of front and right sides. Eight men are visible, three looking out of second floor windows, four in front, one at the side door on the right. They are not identified. The man third from left on the ground is holding a dog. Inscription on verso: "Barn on Bowley Farm, later a shoe factory, Beach St. / Struck by lightning & burned in 1882." Call number is HF5.18.1 Senter HPH 56-773E.
