Description |
Cast of "Aunt Jerusha's Quilting Party", circa 1916. Printed on mat and tape on reverse of slide: "E. W. Goodrich, Tremont Temple, Boston / Aunt Jerusha's Quilting Party / About 1916." The cast consists of four young men and thirteen young women, all in costume as various characters. They are standing on a tiny stage in a room with framed pictures on the walls. Location and actors not identified. The play was by Laura Matilda Stephenson Parsons, and was published around the turn of the century. Goodrich was probably the source of the lantern slides, rather than the photographer. |
