Haverhill Tercentenary Parade, Girl Scouts Bugle Corps, Merrimack Street, Haverhill, 1940. The group is marching from left to right. The majorette is wearing a white uniform and tall hat, the girls marching in formation behind her are wearing various Girl Scout uniforms. They are playing drums or carrying bugles. Spectators on both sides of the street, which is littered with confetti. Rosengard's and F. & W. Grand storefronts on the far side of the street. Inscription on verso: "Photo by John G. Blacklock / Tercentenary Parade - June 29 - Merrimack St. / Girl Scouts Bugle Corps." Photo is 20 x 25 cm mounted on cardboard 26 x 36 cm. |
