George W. Webster House, 24 Highland Avenue, Haverhill, built circa 1888. Three stories, cross gabled roof, pale blue or grey with white trim, small front porch, dormers, turret with third floor balcony and faceted onion roof. Trees in front of the house partly obscuring the view of the front; view of front and left sides, from near intersection with Arlington Street. Another house partly visible in the foreground on the right, with white picket fence. Webster was a shoe manufacturer; original owners listed in our Highlands house binder as "G. W. & C. Webster." Date on slide: Oct 79, number 14. |
