Marsh-Brickett-Dow House, 687 Main Street, Haverhill. Formerly 403 Main Street. Three stories, clapboard, hip roof, dormer, portico and small porch at front entrance, portico on the right, two story extension in the rear. Large two story carriage house in the rear on the right. Built by E. R. Quimby. View of front and right sides. A small lane or road is on the right, sign not visible. Another house is in the background on this road. Inscription on verso: "Photo by George W. W. Bartlett / Built for Moses Marsh Estate between 1881-1882 / Originally 403 Main St. / c. 1894 Benjamin Franklin Brickett, lawyer, Mayor of Haverhill 1897 / Moses Dow house, 689 Main St. cor. Oxford St. about 1912 / now site of Oxford Manor - 1970." Another print states it was later 689 Main Street. Photo by George W. W. Bartlett, circa 1912, see glass negative HS1.1 Senter G5x7 13-29.
