Two prints, photomechanical print of photograph and and text, measuring together 13 x 12 cm, mounted on cardboard 26 x 36 cm. Text clipping below reads "Haverhill Gas Light Co. With a capital stock of $75,000, the H.G.L. Co. was organized in 1853, and since that time has made (figuratively) tons of gas. Now everybody likes gas, and most everybody uses it at times; then remember where it can be obtained, either in small packages or by the hogshead at 106 Merrimack street. The officers of the company are: President, A. A. Sargent, treasurer and Collector, William H. Curtis. Directors, A. A. Sargent, U. A. Killam, G. C. Clement. Superintendent, Wm. K. Stratton."
