A man with a mustache and beard, wearing a jacket and trousers is on the far right, probably Jackson Haynes; see HS1.1 Senter GLS 8-34. A young man in a suit and hat is on the left. The other people are not identified. Image probably circa late 1870s. Label: [printed] "E. W. Goodrich, Tremont Temple, Boston," and handwritten on label: "Home of Thomas Haynes - Lowell Ave, Corner Carleton St." Goodrich is the manufacturer of the slide; the photographer is not identified. |
