Harry Elmore Hurd - Print, Photographic
Harry Elmore Hurd. Studio portrait, half length, seated. He has grey hair and is wearing glasses, a tweed suit, shirt and tie. He was minister at Centre Congregational Church in Haverhill 1924-1929. He was an Army Chaplain, First Lieutenant for the 33rd Engineers during World War I. He later won the Golden Rose literary prize awarded by the New England Poetry Club. Photo is 18 x 13 cm mounted on cardboard 33 x 26 cm, creased at the center.
